Attorney
Richard E. Noll is the founder and principal attorney at The Noll Law Firm, P.C. which is a dynamic, creative and aggressive personal injury litigation firm. He has been a trial attorney for over thirty years and represents injury victims in all of the courts of the Long Island and New York City Metropolitan Area.
“We maximize the financial recovery for accident victims through thorough preparation and consistent communication in an effort to improve their lives.”
I became a personal injury trial lawyer because I love helping people and I always wanted to work in a courtroom, persuading the people who were to decide my client's fate. Figuring out how an accident occurred and learning, understanding and being able to communicate the details of the injuries and medicine involved has become a passion. The process of gathering evidence then weaving it into a compelling story and telling that story with passion is a great pleasure. I do everything I can for my clients because that is what I hope my lawyer would do for me. This includes being brutally honest with them and advising them when they won't succeed. Too many lawyers drag their clients down a path that only ends in frustration and disappointment and they never have the heart or integrity to tell the client. That will never happen in my office.
The value of a personal injury case is determined by three factors: Liability (who is at fault for the accident); damages (what is the injury and financial loss) and the extent of the insurance coverage. Too many lawyers let the client’s case go on auto-pilot with the hopes that they will be able to obtain a favorable settlement. We expect more for our clients and will diligently guide our clients through the often confusing maze of medical treatment and the litigation process. The ultimate value of our client’s case will be determined by the quality and extent of the medical care rendered to the client, who should be treated by the best board certified physicians available.
Being a creative, zealous and compassionate attorney is what I do to live my life well. I work hard for others because I want them to work hard for me. Working hard enables me to enjoy life with the things that really matter. My team at the Noll Law Firm are all the best at what they do. We all work hard supporting each other and giving the very best attention to our clients. Our clients are not only accident victims, but very often our client is the initial personal injury attorney retained by an accident victim who then chooses us to prosecute the case and maximize the recovery for the injury victim. This this is who I am. Whether you are a client, a prospective client or an adversary you should know who I am and what is important to me. Know your lawyer. Feel comfortable with him. This opens communications. Good and effective communication is the cornerstone to every successful relationship.
When not in the courtroom or developing my clients’ cases, I enjoy cycling, riding thousands of miles each year. I enjoy traveling, reading, hitting the golf course or taking a hike in the woods. I like to say I don't play golf. I just go out on a nice day with a few friends and let the ball get in the way of my club, but I do enjoy myself.
In this day and age, it seems that the law and public opinion are against you if you are involved in a personal injury claim. Therefore you and your attorney have to be honest, creative and aggressive in presenting your case to the court and ultimately to the jury if you want to succeed. Success is measured by achieving outstanding results for clients. Success only results from preparing each case and every client with the assumption that you will have to try the case to verdict. Never assume that the case will settle before trial. Be more prepared than your adversary. Exhibit compassion for your clients. Maintain your personal and professional integrity always. These are the keys to success. This is what the Noll Law Firm is about.
